HOW TO GET STARTED AT THE LAB
Contact us for the next steps - We promise it will be simple!
We are accepting members at this time - those brand new to strength and conditioning training, as well as those who have been training and are looking for a new gym to call home.
If you’re in Seattle for business or pleasure and want to drop in for a class, or open gym – drop us a line. We’d love to have you join our community.
FAQ – For those trying to navigate on whether or not The LAB will be a good fit:
I EXERCISE A LOT, with yoga, running, HIIT class, and/or Orange Theory - will that be enough to get started?
Awesome! Your lungs and flexible body will serve you well in our group classes. The LAB will now champion a journey along side you, to get you stronger, more durable, and give you a better understanding of your body, how it moves, and what it means to train and finding joy in the gym.
WHEN ARE THE CLASSES? AND HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GO?
We are open 7 days/week, and we do NOT close during the day Monday thru Friday. We want to be available to help people train throughout the day. We want to provide our members with ample opportunity to train. The more often you can get into the gym, the faster you’ll pick things up, and the more fun you’ll have meeting like minded people in our community. We have found over the years that 3-4 days per week of our appropriately programmed training will also bring meaningful and measurable results to our newest members within their first 30 days.
I AM CURRENTLY INJURED OR AM PRONE TO INJURY, WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST?
While we are able to scale and modify exercises and movements to accommodate a varying degree of fitness levels and physical limitations, The LAB is not an injury rehab program/facility. If you're currently injured or have a recent history of injuries, you'll need to get the green light from your doctor before training with us.
I HAVE 30+ POUNDS TO LOSE, IS The LAB the RIGHT FOR ME?
Absolutely! Some of the stories that have inspired us the most are of our members who have come in and put in the work to lose dozens and dozens of pounds in order to regain their health and vitality. We'd love to take that journey with you!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? DO I NEED TO BRING ANY SPECIAL EQUIPMENT?
Come dressed to break a sweat. Baggy clothes tend to get in the way. No special equipment needed.
HOW THE LAB WORKS
Athletes enter into our comprehensive group fitness realm. Group class programming at The LAB is user-friendly for all fitness levels, and focuses on building and improving a balanced fitness baseline. We want our community to feel balance throughout their bodies. We incorporate and pay attention to how much pushing, pulling, squatting, hinging, single leg/arm work, and core control and stability is assigned throughout our weekly general program model. It should be noted that there is ample opportunity to work on skills, strength, speed and power in every weeks design. The heart of our group design is rooted in the pursuit to improve capacity in the 10 recognized fitness domains: cardiorespiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy. The result is comprehensive physical fitness and restored vitality.
Monthly membership Rate:

The LAB can also be home to those who desire to move beyond the whiteboard of group fitness and discover the joy of being in the gym training to improve their personal goals and aspirations. No longer are you handcuffed by a randomized whiteboard. REV is our 3 part model that is tailored to any athlete at any level. REV combines strength training & conditioning, corrective exercise/mobility, and body work into a design that is personal for each member. We administer each athlete’s daily program through the Fitbot App. As a REV member, all three pieces can be part of your design, or just one or two. The level and depth of training depends entirely on each client and the individual training needs/goals.
In this approach, we assess and test each person in a handful of different capacities, including but not limited to; mobility, aerobic conditioning (stamina), gymnastic skill, weightlifting strength and power output. REV’s individual design exists so that athletes can optimize their movement and prioritize their time training, to move in a direction that correlates with their personal goals as an athlete. REV programs can be performed at our training facility in Seattle or through our remote coaching model.
